This page explains how to request deletion of your ezlate account and the data associated with it. ezlate is a free voice chat app with instant AI translation, operated at ezlate.com and available on Google Play.

How to request account deletion

To request deletion of your ezlate account and associated data, send an email from the Google account you use to sign in to ezlate:

Please include the following in your email so we can verify your request:

1. The email address associated with your ezlate (Google) sign-in
2. A brief statement confirming that you are the account owner and are requesting permanent deletion

We will confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of verification. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

What data is deleted

Upon a verified deletion request, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:

• Your ezlate account record (Firebase Authentication user, including your Google-provided name, email address, profile photo, and user ID)
• Any rooms you created and the associated room metadata stored in our Realtime Database
• Any chat messages or translation records linked to your account
• Any device identifiers associated with your account

Voice recordings are never stored by ezlate. Voice data is processed in real time for translation and discarded immediately after processing — so there is no voice data to delete at the time of your request.

What data may be retained

For security, abuse prevention, and to comply with our legal obligations, we may retain a minimal set of information for a limited time after account deletion:

• Server logs containing IP addresses and request timestamps — retained for up to 90 days and then permanently deleted
• Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you as an individual — retained indefinitely

No personally identifiable information is retained beyond the 90-day log window.

Deleting your data without deleting your account

ezlate does not currently offer a way to delete specific data while keeping your account active. If you want any of the data listed above removed, you will need to request full account deletion as described above. You can always create a new ezlate account afterward using the same Google account.
